Samsara is a Storm
Samsara is a storm on the ocean, and this past election a raging hurricane.
So why not rest your butt in an inner tube and bob like flotsam on the gynormous waves?
Easy to suggest, but what about the suffering of all sentient beings?
I don't exist this morning.
Not existing requires no work. It's not an insight.
It's a choice like choosing to lean back in a great easy chair and abandon all responsibility.
Like dozing in a small boat drifting down a quiet stream.
But what about all those suffering sentient beings?
The answer to this question is, I think, very important.
Westerners assume there is nothing in a vacuum.
But perhaps a vacuum is not unfilled. Perhaps it is exploding like a supernova. With what? Non-suffering?
