I'm talking many cans of worms

I trudge along the Dharma path in the company of two lovely Mahayana gompas. I can’t remember which lineage is which. I meditate seeking insight and when an insight happens, I do my best to express it in modern English, and then I share it on this website.

‘Tidbits’ are short and sweet. ‘Poems’ are longer. ‘Reflections’ are longer still, less poetic, and focused on a particular issue. Essays are extra long with minimal attempt at poetry.

Expressing meditative insights with words is challenging and fraught with terrible pitfalls. There are so many pitfalls. Writing down Dharma is a PRACTICE in the deepest sense of the word. It is so twisted and terrifying that I am writing an essay just on that subject.

(I’m not done yet.)
